Restaurant Al Wadi in Quebec City

Food quality ok but portion is small compare to the price. If you want something quick and relatively cheap comparing to the other places in area then you can try this place. Another reason for me to choose as this serves halal food.

AWFUL service, AWFUL food, and a RIP OFF; the guy overcharged 4$ and since I paid with a card and was on holiday, I couldn't get a refund. No wonder why the place is empty. The whole experience was AWFUL. NEVER go there unless you wanna be ripped off and have bad food. If there were no stars at all, this is what this place would get.

This place is so bad that my wife and I have a running gag where we say "Al Wadi!" to each other when we see a terrible restaurant to this day. They microwave their food and there were flies on a ton of ingredients when I entered.

Fresh salad, well balanced shawarma with oriental flavor, warm and welcoming staff, the prices are cheap recommended for serious people.

Very nice family restaurant. The shish taouk is very tasty. Meal size is just right for the price (under 10$ with taxes for a combo).

If there were zero stars I would have put it. Awful, disgusting, not recommended, you shouldn't try it. I am Lebanese and I tell you, it looks like everything except Lebanese, from afar !!!!!!!

The food was amazing for the price

Friendly staff but only ok food. We didn't check reviews first and I wish we had. Dropped a star because they microwaved the potatoes and rice. The floor near the bathroom was so greasy it make it dangerous to walk back to my table. However the meat is cooked right in front of you straight from the fridge.

it was average at best. Some of the salads were not fresh. We ordered two kebabs for take out . They didnt put them in our bag. We didnt bother to go back for the kebabs because the quality of the rest of the food was so mediocre. We prefer the other place down the road.

You are better off fasting than eating the food in this "restaurant".

Paid $7 for a shish taouk wrap which had 4 small pieces of chicken. The pita was stale and overall food had no flavour. Have had way better Mediterranean food. Below average food for how much you’re charged.

Garbage food. Completely old food. Don’t even wast your time to try Lebanese street food here. They even don’t know what is Lebanese food. They use cans grape vine leaves.

Nicely flavored, great value

I just bought two shawarmas and the person handing the food was also handling the register. I’m revolted! He was wearing gloves however the gloves were not serving a purpose as he was handling money and food at the same time! I was not able to eat my shawarma...this place is disgusting, not hygienic! The people who work here don’t care about their customers.

Disastrous order ....Pitta gyros lamb / beef with extra garlic sauce and vegetables.I get a Pitta chicken gyros extra gyros lamb / beef spicy sauce without vegetablesInedible spicy sauce, by the way, I never knew how to finish my Pitta, yet I love the spiciness.There were missing potatoes from my trio.I call respectfully for explanations and pretend not to understand anything and not to accept comments

Soulanki was ok but the couscous was very bad. Not much halal options around that area, so had to manage

Food is awesome! Service is lacking.

I find it cold in the restaurant. No double door, so the air enters direct ... Cold chair etc. In summer we don't have that problem;) excellent food.

Good value for money on large driveway and prices are reasonable. Good speed of service too.

Very bad food. They serve red cabbage instead of turnips. The meat is not on the spit. The salad spends so much time on the counter that it is brown. The potatoes are heated in the microwave and do not taste garlic at all. In short, a very bad restore.

Foos was good, but done in a very slow pace. Second order of same food was made different. Chef was not working clean, no gloves, touching food with bare hands and operating money and cash, no masks during covid19, no disinfectant for him too.
